Desmon Devante Crawford, a 26-year-old African American male, was found dead on July 11, 2021, at the Maple Crest Apartments in Fort Myers, Florida. The incident occurred around 3:37 a.m. when police responded to reports of gunfire at 3615 Crestwood Lakes Drive. Upon arrival, officers discovered Crawford's body, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
