Joseph Mitchell, a 35-year-old man from Leesburg, FL, was found dead on October 4, 2021, outside a home on Kinne Pearce Road. The Lake County Sheriff's Office responded to a shots-fired call at approximately 1:46 a.m. Upon arrival, deputies discovered Mitchell unresponsive, and paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene.
