Steven Mark Ricker, a 41-year-old Caucasian male, tragically lost his life on January 29, 2015, in Leesburg, Florida. The incident occurred at the Washington Street Apartments near Leesburg Regional Medical Center around 4:15 a.m. According to police reports, Ricker was knocking on several doors within the apartment complex before attempting to enter the residence of 28-year-old Jimmy Soto. Soto, who was inside the apartment with his fiancée, daughter, and son, repeatedly told Ricker to leave.
