On May 4, 2016, 77-year-old Raymond Chambers, a Black/African American male, was discovered deceased inside his residence in the 1500 block of North Durham Street in East Baltimore, Maryland. His death was officially ruled a homicide by the Medical Examiner's office, which determined the cause to be injuries from a sharp object. At the time of the discovery, the circumstances suggested a violent encounter had taken place.
