Thomas E. Millet, a police officer with the Beverly Hills Police Department, tragically lost his life on June 16, 1953. The incident occurred at the police shooting range when another officer's weapon accidentally discharged. This inadvertent gunfire resulted in Officer Millet's fatal injury. He was survived by his wife and two children.
