George Reeves

Death by Force

George Reeves, best known for his role as Superman in the 1950s television series "Adventures of Superman," was found dead on June 16, 1959, in his home in the Benedict Canyon neighborhood of Beverly Hills, California. He was 45 years old at the time of his death. Reeves died from a gunshot wound to the head, and his death was officially ruled a suicide.
