In the summer of 2016, the life of Delroy Peters, a 35-year-old Black man, was tragically cut short in Baltimore, Maryland. On July 23, Peters was found deceased in a home located in the 300 block of North Carrollton Avenue. He was not alone; another victim, Eboni Thornton, was also discovered at the scene, making it a double homicide.
