Mary Elizabeth "Beth" Sowers, aged 21, tragically lost her life on November 1, 1980, in Placer County, California. Her death was part of a horrific crime spree carried out by Gerald and Charlene Gallego, a notorious serial killer couple known for their brutal acts of kidnapping, rape, and murder. The Gallegos, often referred to as the "Sex Slave Killers," were responsible for the deaths of at least eleven victims between 1978 and 1980.
