Margarita Padilla, an 18-year-old resident of San Ysidro, California, tragically lost her life on July 18, 1984, during what became known as the San Ysidro McDonald's massacre. On that fateful day, James Huberty, a 41-year-old man, entered the McDonald's restaurant in San Ysidro armed with multiple firearms, including a pump-action shotgun, a semi-automatic rifle, and an automatic pistol.
