Neva Denise Caine, a 22-year-old manager at McDonald's, tragically lost her life on July 18, 1984, during what became known as the San Ysidro McDonald's massacre. This horrific event unfolded when a gunman entered the McDonald's restaurant in San Ysidro, California, and opened fire, killing 21 people and wounding 19 others.
