Elsa Herlinda Borboa-Firro, a 19-year-old resident of San Ysidro, California, tragically lost her life on July 18, 1984, during the infamous McDonald's massacre. Born on December 8, 1964, in Mexico, Elsa had moved to the United States and was working at the McDonald's in San Ysidro at the time of the incident. On that fateful day, a gunman entered the restaurant and opened fire, resulting in the deaths of 21 people, including Elsa, and injuring 19 others.
