Carlo Grant Troiani, a 37-year-old Marine Staff Sergeant, was tragically murdered on August 10, 1984, in Oceanside, California. His death was the result of a calculated murder-for-hire plot orchestrated by his wife, Laura Troiani. The motive behind the murder was to claim Carlo's $95,000 life insurance policy.
