Morell Booze, a 29-year-old Black man, was shot in broad daylight on October 10, 2016, in northwest Baltimore’s Central Park Heights neighborhood. Police were called just after 2 p.m. to the 3700 block of Beehler Avenue, near Beaufort Avenue, for a report of a shooting, and they arrived to find him suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his upper and lower body.
