Nicola Michelle Grant, aged 42, tragically lost her life on January 30, 2006, in Goleta, California, during a horrific mass shooting at the Santa Barbara Processing and Distribution Center. The perpetrator, Jennifer Sanmarco, a former postal worker, carried out the attack after being placed on medical leave for psychological issues in 2003.
