Mark "Papa Frisco" Guardado, aged 46, was a prominent figure in the Hells Angels Motorcycle Club, serving as the president of the San Francisco chapter. On the night of September 2, 2008, Guardado was involved in a fatal altercation outside a bar in San Francisco's Mission District.
