Luis Diaz, a 27-year-old Latino, was fatally shot on December 15, 2010, in Boyle Heights, Los Angeles. The incident occurred around 12:10 a.m. on the 2600 block of East 3rd Street. According to the Los Angeles County coroner's records, Diaz was shot multiple times and was subsequently transported to Los Angeles County-USC Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries approximately 45 minutes later.
