Lucia Bernice Kondas, aged 65, tragically lost her life on October 12, 2011, in Seal Beach, California. Lucia was one of the victims in a horrific mass shooting at Salon Meritage, located at 500 Pacific Coast Highway. The incident, which is considered one of the worst mass shootings in Orange County's history, occurred shortly before 1:30 PM when Scott Evans Dekraai, armed with multiple firearms, entered the salon and opened fire.
