Laura Lee Webb Elody, aged 46, tragically lost her life on October 12, 2011, in a mass shooting at Salon Meritage in Seal Beach, California. The incident occurred shortly before 1:30 PM when Scott Evans Dekraai, driven by a bitter custody dispute with his ex-wife, Michelle Marie Fournier, entered the salon and opened fire.
