Cesar Javier Gonzalez, a 25-year-old resident of Los Angeles, was tragically killed on January 12, 2012. The incident occurred near Santa Monica Boulevard and Edgemont Street in East Hollywood. According to reports, Gonzalez and his girlfriend were approached by two men around 1:15 a.m. One of the assailants pushed Gonzalez's girlfriend to the ground, while the other drew a small handgun and opened fire.
