Death by Force

Christopher Emmett Lane, a 24-year-old man from Long Beach, California, was tragically shot and killed on February 21, 2014. The incident occurred near 59th Street and Linden Avenue in Long Beach. According to the Los Angeles County coroner’s records, Long Beach Police responded to a shots fired call around 1:55 p.m. Upon arrival, they found Lane with a gunshot wound in his upper body. He was immediately transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 2:10 p.m.
