Juan Guizar-Gutierrez, aged 39, tragically lost his life on September 4, 2021, in Long Beach, California. He and Maricela Honorato, aged 44, were fatally shot near Drake Park around 8 p.m. that evening. The couple had been returning from a fishing trip when they were confronted by two men in another vehicle.
