Rigoberto Carlos Gutierrez, a 32-year-old Latino, was tragically shot and killed on April 15, 2014, near South Union Avenue and West 18th Street in the Pico-Union area of Los Angeles. According to the Los Angeles County coroner’s records, Gutierrez was walking along the street around 2:45 p.m. when two male Latinos approached him and shot him multiple times.
