Jose Guadalupe Vera, an 18-year-old Latino, was tragically shot and killed on June 16, 2019, in Wilmington, Los Angeles. According to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner’s records, the incident occurred around 4:15 a.m. near West Anaheim Street and Island Avenue.
