Leon Gaines, aged 56, was tragically murdered on September 30, 1986, in Los Angeles, California. His death was part of a series of killings attributed to Michael Player, infamously known as the "Skid Row Slayer." Player's spree of violence targeted primarily homeless individuals in the Skid Row area of Los Angeles.
