Elroy Milton Mays, a 48-year-old man from Los Angeles, California, tragically lost his life on June 20, 2014, after being shot two months earlier on April 20, 2014. The incident occurred in the 11500 block of South Wilmington Avenue in Watts. According to the Los Angeles County coroner’s records, Mays was walking west on East 115th Street from South Wilmington Avenue when he encountered another man.
