In the summer of 2017, the life of Donte Johnson, a 37-year-old Black man, was tragically cut short in Baltimore, Maryland. On the evening of August 5th, at approximately 9:59 p.m., Johnson was found suffering from a gunshot wound in the 1600 block of Gertrude Court.

Emergency services responded to the scene and transported Johnson to the Maryland Shock Trauma Center. Despite the efforts of medical professionals, he succumbed to his injuries. The cause of his death was officially ruled as ...
