Jimmy Copas Jr., a 25-year-old resident of East San Jose, California, tragically lost his life on the night of May 15, 2014. The incident occurred around 11 p.m. when Copas was returning home from a late-night errand to a gas station with his wife. As they approached their home on Gridley Street, someone opened fire, fatally wounding Copas. Despite the frantic efforts of his family, who rushed him to the Regional Medical Center of San Jose, he succumbed to his injuries shortly after arrival.
