Henry I. Bunch, a dedicated police officer with the San Jose Police Department, tragically lost his life on July 29, 1985, at the age of 33. Officer Bunch was shot and killed with his own service weapon after being overpowered by a suspect he had arrested for driving under the influence (DUI).
