Ernesto Castro-Sanchez, a 20-year-old resident of Sunnyvale, California, tragically lost his life in a shooting incident on August 2, 2014. The incident occurred at Encinal Park, located on the 400 block of Macara Avenue, around 2:30 a.m. Ernesto was shot in the neck and succumbed to his injuries at the scene. A woman who was with him at the time was also injured but survived after being taken to Santa Clara Valley Medical Center.
