Wayne "Buddy" Williams Jr., aged 23, tragically lost his life on February 16, 1988, in a mass shooting at the headquarters of ESL Inc., a tech firm in Sunnyvale, California. The perpetrator, Richard Wade Farley, was a former employee of the company who had been stalking a co-worker, Laura Black, for several years.
