Donald G. Ron Doney, aged 36, tragically lost his life on February 16, 1988, in Sunnyvale, California. His death was part of a horrific mass shooting incident at ESL Inc., a computer company in Sunnyvale. The perpetrator, Richard Farley, a former employee of the company, carried out a bloody shooting spree that resulted in the deaths of seven people, including Doney.
