Zephaniah Lee Matthews, aged 29, tragically lost his life on August 6, 2014, in a violent incident that shocked the Bakersfield, CA community. On that fateful night, multiple masked men stormed an apartment on Quincy Street in East Bakersfield, opening fire and killing three men, including Matthews.
