Gretchen DeStefano, a 96-year-old resident of Rossmoor, California, was tragically shot to death on August 28, 2014. The incident occurred at her home on Wallingsford Road, where deputies from the Orange County Sheriff's Department responded to reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, they found DeStefano with a fatal gunshot wound and declared her dead at the scene.
