On February 23, 2024, at approximately 5:30 p.m., 33-year-old Lillie "Porkchop" Jones was fatally shot in Sacramento's Oak Park neighborhood, near 14th Avenue and 38th Street. Upon arrival, officers found Jones suffering from multiple gunshot wounds; she was transported to a hospital, where she later succumbed to her injuries.
