On July 8, 2024, 36-year-old Alma Adilene Aguilar Mendoza was found deceased from a gunshot wound in the 3100 block of Northstead Drive, located in Sacramento's Northgate neighborhood. Officers responded to a medical aid call shortly before 10 a.m. and discovered her at the scene, where she was pronounced dead.
