Latrell Shaw, a 19-year-old resident of San Francisco, was tragically killed on September 5, 2014. Shaw was attending a neighborhood barbecue in the Bayview-Hunters Point neighborhood when he was shot on Nichols Way, near the Alice Griffith public housing complex. The incident occurred just before midnight, and Shaw was transported to San Francisco General Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
