Xavier Martinez, a 16-year-old from Los Angeles, California, was tragically shot on December 19, 2014, while standing outside an apartment complex in the 12400 block of Washington Place in Mar Vista. According to the Los Angeles County coroner’s records, the incident occurred shortly before 11:30 a.m. when a gunman approached and opened fire.
