Fidel De Jesus Campos, a 24-year-old Latino, tragically lost his life on February 1, 2017, following a shooting incident in the Vermont Knolls neighborhood of Los Angeles. On the night of January 31, 2017, Campos and Ricardo Cruz-Mendoza, 43, were walking in an alley in the 900 block of West 74th Street when they were both shot.
