Miles was charged with one count of murder, one count of assault with a semi-automatic firearm, and one count of possession of a firearm by a felon. Prosecutors also alleged that Miles committed these crimes on behalf of, or in connection with, a criminal street gang. The case against Miles proceeded with an arraignment scheduled for October 18, 2017.
