Jesse Salazar, an 18-year-old from Los Angeles, was tragically shot and killed on August 7, 2017. The incident occurred in Reseda, near Cantara Street and Chastain Avenue, close to Cantara Street Elementary School. According to reports, Salazar was standing on the sidewalk when an assailant approached and fired multiple rounds at him. The shooter’s face was covered, making immediate identification difficult.
