Christopher Monico, a 21-year-old resident of Antioch, California, tragically lost his life on March 2, 2015. The incident occurred late at night when Monico was fatally shot by Tony Belfield, a 34-year-old Antioch resident. According to reports, Monico was shot while his hands were raised in the air, a gesture indicating surrender.
