Robert Paul Burdge, aged 36, died on March 19, 2015, in Bakersfield, California, following a series of violent events that culminated in a police standoff. The incident began on the evening of March 18, 2015, when Burdge allegedly shot a man during a confrontation at a residence on Copa Cabana Court in northwest Bakersfield.
