David Cardiel, a 37-year-old Latino, was tragically shot and killed on March 21, 2015, near Eastlake Avenue and George Street in Lincoln Heights, Los Angeles. According to the Los Angeles County coroner's records, the incident occurred shortly before 7 p.m. when Cardiel, driving a white SUV, stopped to talk to a man.
