Jerry James Lucero, a 43-year-old employee at a Subway restaurant, tragically lost his life on May 26, 2015, during a robbery at the establishment located in Stockton, California. The incident occurred around 9:30 p.m. when a man entered the restaurant and demanded money from the register. Lucero, who was working at the time, attempted to intervene and protect his coworker, Berenice Conde.
