Carlos Vasquez Martinez, a 27-year-old man from Watsonville, California, was tragically shot to death on June 12, 2015. The incident occurred at a homeless encampment behind businesses on Main Street in Watsonville. Martinez was found with a gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene. The investigation into his death quickly led authorities to identify Luciano Acevedo Jr. as the primary suspect.
