Ivan Garcia-Avila, a 24-year-old resident of Watsonville, California, tragically lost his life on December 19, 2014, in what was identified as a gang-related drive-by shooting. The incident occurred in broad daylight at approximately 11:20 a.m. near Callahan Park and Sudden Street.
