Almicar Ponce Jr., a 21-year-old Native American, tragically lost his life on June 23, 2015, after being shot in the head in the Historic South-Central area of Los Angeles. The incident occurred in the early hours of June 21, 2015, when Ponce was standing on the sidewalk in front of a home on Wall Street.
