Kevin Clay Thomas, a 20-year-old man from Los Angeles, was tragically shot and killed on August 8, 2015. The incident occurred around 7 p.m. at the Soto Gold Line station near 1st and Soto streets. According to reports, Thomas and his friend were approached by three Latino men in their 20s. An argument ensued, and Thomas and his friend were cornered near the elevators.
