James Maurice Carter, a 31-year-old man, was tragically shot and killed on September 4, 2019, in the Gramercy Park neighborhood of South Los Angeles. The incident occurred around 1:15 p.m. while Carter and another individual were driving south on South Harvard Boulevard. They pulled over, and at that moment, shots were fired into their vehicle from another car.
