Charles McElroy, a 22-year-old resident of Oakland, California, tragically lost his life on September 3, 2015, due to multiple gunshot wounds. The incident occurred around 4:09 a.m. in the 9800 block of Burr Street in East Oakland. Responding to reports of gunfire, police found McElroy with severe injuries to his chest.
